What is a “Trademark Renewal”?
A “Trademark Renewal” consists of two different documents that must be filed with the USPTO after a trademark has been registered in order to keep the trademark alive and well.
The first document is called a Section 8 Declaration of Continued Use and it must be filed twice after the trademark has been registered.
The second document is called a Section 9 Renewal and it must be filed numerous times after the trademark is registered
