Contact Us to Schedule Your Free Trademark Consultation

Contact us to schedule your free trademark registration service consultation. We can be reached at 1 800-651-7301, via email at info@trademarkattorneyslosangeles.com, or through our contact form at the bottom of this page. If you fill out the contact form, one of our attorneys will get back to you within 24 hours of your submission to schedule a phone consultation, virtual meeting, or an in-person meeting with you.

During the trademark consultation, a U.S. licensed attorney will explain the trademark registration process to you and answer any questions you may have. Additionally, we can help you pick the package that is best suitable for your particular circumstances.

Search and Clear Your Trademark Registration Service

Whether you pick the Standard Package or the Premium Package, a free “knockout” search is included as part of each Package, but a full comprehensive search is only included in the Premium Package. While performing a knockout search won’t tell you whether your trademark is eligible for use and registration, the knockout trademark search is a good place to begin your trademark search. This is also something that you can and should do yourself using the Trademark Electronic Search System (TESS).

If we don’t uncover any obvious conflicts when performing the knockout search using TESS, the next step is to perform a comprehensive federal trademark search. This is the type of trademark search that we conduct for most our clients, and it provides the best guidance regarding trademark availability and registration eligibility for the least amount of money.

Our firm uses specialized software to search through the databases of the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) to search the USPTO records in order to determine whether there are any existing trademark registrations or applications that are identical or similar to yours. Once the comprehensive federal trademark search and analysis is completed, we will provide you with a detailed opinion containing any substantial risks associated with using and applying to register your trademark and the probability of successfully registering your trademark and how long it might take.

Based on the search results and your attorney’s opinion, you’ll then decide whether you want to start the U.S. trademark application process, or whether it might be better to come up with a different mark that could potentially be less problematic.

Prepare and File Your Trademark Application

A U.S. licensed attorney will prepare and file your trademark application with the USPTO.

Monitor Your Trademark Application and Update You Throughout the Registration Process

After filing your trademark application, our firm will monitor the status of your application and provide you with updates throughout the registration process. If we receive any answers or office actions from the examining attorney at the USPTO, we will promptly contact to you.

Your Trademark is Registered

If your trademark proceeds to registration, the USPTO issues an electronic certificate of registration by uploading it to the TSDR system and emailing a link to you and all email addresses of record.
